The European Central Bank is still trying to get things going as they try to stabilize Europe. There are a few possible futures for the ECB. One is that it might decide that the European Central Bank is a very stable institution, even though it is not as strong as the US Federal Reserve, the British Government or even the Chinese Government in terms of its power and influence. It might decide that the ECB is a stable institution that is independent, flexible and that would be good for the Europeans. That means that the ECB does not have to do much on paper or do too much in the coming days. They could simply hold its interest rates at zero for a while, which would give them more bargaining power on a European level. It could also decide that the ECB is very weak and therefore that they do not need to be involved in debt and spending decisions of the Greek government or even for making loans to Greece and for providing credit to the Greek sovereigns and so on.


Another possibility would be if the ECB decides that they are not good for any of the countries involved in the Greek debt crisis, so that they stop issuing any more debt that are in default to the government and so that there is no need for the Greek government to be in debt to any country. This could be a decision that would require a Greek exit from the euro. If the Greek government decides to leave and Greece does not want to be a part of the euro zone, then the ECB might decide that they should not be involved in any other debt or spending decisions of the Greek government or any other policy choices by the Greek government.


An exit might also be in the US interest if the president decides to let the UK leave the EU without actually renegotiating the terms of its membership of the EU, but the outcome of that negotiation is dependent on many factors, including whether there are any further countries that are interested in joining the EU. I think you'll find that the European Commission has made it quite clear that it thinks that a Grexit is probably not in the US interests. If we get a Grexit by default, there will be a lot of uncertainty at the end of it as to whether or not another country will be in a position to join the EU. It might also be in the US interest if the German Chancellor decided to leave or if the French or German Prime Ministers decided to leave as well. But this will depend on several things, such as the current political situation of Europe in general and whether there is going to be another Grexit tha
